Mortgage Manfro’s LETTER FROM THE HEART My September 2026 Letter From the Heart is about resetting, refocusing, having fun, working hard, and deciding what deserves my full attention. Dear Friend, My September 2026 Letter From the Heart is about resetting, refocusing, having fun, working hard, and deciding what deserves my full attention. We served 8 families and funded around $3 million in mortgages this month. That was below our target, but I'm still incredibly grateful. I remember when I was just trying to help one family a month. The bar has moved, but the feeling I'm chasing hasn't. Helping someone become a homeowner, improve their financial position, or expand their real estate portfolio never gets old. It's not about the number of loans. It's about the families we get to serve. Put It on the Calendar 🏕️ I learned a long time ago that if I put something on my calendar, there's a pretty good chance it happens. I used to camp three to five times a year, but lately I hadn't been getting out enough. So months ago I booked a campsite at Jumbo Rocks in Joshua Tree before I even knew who could go. As the trip approached, business was busy, loans needed attention, and The Lock-In Effect presentation was coming up fast. It would have been easy to cancel. But I knew I needed the reset. So my son-in-law and assistant Aaron and I headed out. We arrived in total darkness, found our incredible campsite - site #119 if you ever go - and immediately learned there was a park-wide fire ban. So much for the big campfire. 😂 We rolled with it, watched shooting stars, and the next morning knocked out an 8-mile sunrise hike through the desert. There's something about the desert at sunrise that clears my head. Thanks to Starlink, we handled work when needed and the business never skipped a beat. Sometimes stepping away helps you come back more focused. Be Where Your Feet Are 🎸 Colleen loves Jack White, which is special because our musical tastes don't always line up. 😂 I got tickets to see him at the Fox Theater in Pomona - a venue he hadn't played since his White Stripes days almost 20 years ago. In true Jack White fashion, everyone's phone went into a locked pouch before the show. I'm usually the guy recording concert videos I'll probably never watch again. 😂 This time there was no choice. We were just there. Colleen, me, our friends, and one of the last true rock stars putting on an incredible show. It reminded me how rare it is to be completely present anymore. Sometimes the best reset is simply being where your feet are. Progress Without the Crash 🚵♂️ You all know how much I love Snow Summit Bike Park. Over the years I've worked my way up to some of the biggest jumps on the pro line - and I've also paid the price with some brutal crashes. Last year another big crash ended my season, so coming into this year I definitely had some fear. But I kept getting reps. Little by little, the confidence came back. By the final day I had hit almost every big jump on the pro line and checked off another one I'd been working toward. Then I realized something huge for me: I made it through the entire season without one major crash. 😂 I progressed more than ever while also riding smarter. It's bittersweet knowing I'll miss most of next season while recovering from hip replacement surgery, but I'm grateful for every lap. Snow Summit, I'll see you again in 2028. The Lock-In Effect 🔒 My purpose in life is to inspire and motivate everyone I come into contact with. A little over four years ago, I decided to go all-in on my health and wellness. That one decision changed my body, my mind, my relationships, my business, and the way I live. That became The Lock-In Effect. I was lucky enough to present it alongside my friend Dr. Jason Chiriano, the doctor I originally hired after hearing him speak years ago. More than 60 people showed up, and watching people have real realizations about their own lives was the best part. Nothing fills my cup more than seeing someone inspired to make a positive change. September 2026 Letter From the Heart: Reset. Refocus. Lock In. If September reminded me of anything, it's this: You can't stay locked in without occasionally resetting. Sometimes you need the desert. Sometimes you need a concert with your phone locked away. Sometimes you need another lap on the mountain. Then you come back, refocus, and decide what deserves your full attention. Reset. Refocus. Keep progressing. Then use what you learn to help someone else. With gratitude & heart, Tim Manfro aka Mortgage Manfro Give. Guide. Educate.
