Mortgage Manfro’s LETTER FROM THE HEART February 2026 - Love, Connection, and What Matters Most Dear Friend, February is always a reminder of what really matters. When most people think of February, they think of Valentine's Day - and for me, it means something even more. Colleen and I were married on February 11th, 2017, and I truly believe I am the luckiest man on earth to have her as my wife. A Wedding That Says It All ❤ We got married in Lake Arrowhead… outdoors… in the middle of winter (yes, she's a saint 😂 ). The morning of the wedding was rainy and foggy, and we weren't even sure if we'd be able to have the ceremony outside. But right when it mattered most - the clouds parted. The ceremony was perfect. We took amazing photos, soaked in the moment, and just as we went inside to celebrate… it started pouring and didn't stop all night. I've always felt like that moment represents our life together - there may be uncertainty or storms, but when it matters most, things come together in the best way. Celebrating Us 🥂 We celebrated our anniversary at Brea Chop House, sitting at the bar, having a fair meal haha (ask me on the side for my review 😂 ). And I caught myself just sitting there, looking at her, thinking… How did I get so lucky? Colleen continues to grow into a bigger role in our business, stepping into more of a relationship-focused position, and it's been amazing to watch. I'm grateful to build a life, a family, and a business with her. 📸 Picture included from our anniversary dinner. Business Is Thriving - Because of People 🙌 On the business front, things are firing on all cylinders. As our team has grown, so has our ability to help more people - and that's what it's all about. Bringing on more team members came with some uncertainty. But I trusted the process, committed fully, and now I can't imagine doing it any other way. With rates dropping in February, I had the chance to reconnect with a lot of past clients. These weren't just loan conversations - they were real conversations about life and what's next. It reminded me why we do this: Helping people create a home, raise their families, and build their future. The people are - and always will be - my favorite part. When Clients Become More Than Clients 🏡 ❤ We helped some close friends purchase a home using VA financing - and shortly after closing, they shared the news… they're expecting a baby! We were so excited for them. Being at their baby shower and celebrating that next chapter with them was incredibly special. 📸 Picture included from their baby shower. Moments like that are a great reminder - when we help someone buy a home, we don't just close a transaction… we become part of their story. Snowboarding, Friendship & Shared Experiences 🏂 I got a few great days on the mountain this month, including a trip to June Mountain with a mix of newer and longtime friends. What made it special wasn't just the snow - it was the people. Watching everyone progress, get excited, and truly enjoy the experience together. It's always funny putting trips together with people who don't really know each other… but every time, it works. Shared experiences create real connection. 📸 Picture included from the trip. I also squeezed in a day of backcountry riding at High Sierra Snowcat getting ready for Baldface - another reminder of how powerful it is to connect with people through shared passions. More to come in March about my trip to Baldface – it was EPIC! What February Reminded Me Of More than anything, this month reminded me how important the people in our lives truly are. Family. Friends. Clients who become friends. That's what it's all about. February was filled with love, connection, growth, and gratitude. And if there's one thing I'm taking with me: Life is better when you share it with great people. I'm grateful for my family. I'm grateful for my friends. And I'm grateful for you being part of this journey with me.
